Don't know if you will see this comment (don't have a blog, so am not clear about how comments on older posts do or don't reach the bloggerperson) but just in case, I wanted to thank you for sharing your layered and thought-provoking works. It seems that the first part of our life is about learning the rules. Safety within society means learning these rules and closely following them. As we grow, old rules don't always apply to "real life". Playing it safe can lead to confusing dissatisfaction. This work represents the layers of self, covered and uncovered, on life's journey. There is an opportunity for the viewer to ask themselves "What was lost and was it worth it in the end?"
